New Park Cards for First Time in 12 Years!
(Affidavit of Ownership for all residents 21 and older not on the Deed)
It has been 12 years since we first issued park identification cards. Now, with new technology in place, we have completely updated our system and are replacing all existing cards. New Park Cards will be necessary to gain access to all park facilities effective October 1, 2017. If you, and members of your family, already have new green Park Cards instead of blue, please disregard this letter.
Everyone must be present to pick up a new Park Card with the exception of the following:
1. Children, under the age of 21, who have had a new Park Card application filed and approved within the past three years; and
2. Adults, over the age of 21, who have lived in their homes continuously for 10 or more years and who are the owners of record. Then, at least one family member must be present.
When you come into the office, park personnel will review your account and may request more documentation before issuing new Park Cards. Anyone who wants to get the new Park Card must come into the Park Office.
To obtain the new cards:
- Adults (owners) and children under 21 years of age will need to bring in their current Park Card, driver’s license (if applicable) and take a new photo if deemed necessary at the discretion of the Park Staff
- Any resident over the age of 21 will have to provide additional documentation (driver’s license, Permanent Resident Affidavit, and a current bill/document showing name and address)
If you have any questions or need further information on this process please call the park office at (516) 484–9800.
