AFTER YOUR PERMIT IS ISSUED
INSPECTIONS
For all online permits, inspections can be requested through the permit portal. All permits (except Village Hall permits) require at least a final inspection. It is the homeowner/contractors’ responsibility to request and schedule the required inspections. Your permit documentation will indicate what specific inspections are required for your project.
To request an inspection, go to the appropriate workspace and permit scroll down to the inspections section and select request inspection. Specify the type of inspection from the dropdown list and the date and time range you chose. The inspector will confirm the inspection date and time with you through the portal.

REVISIONS/AMENDMENTS
If you need to make changes to your plans after the permit has been issued you will need to submit an amendment application. The process is similar to the initial application submittal. Go to your workspace for this project and in the dropdown menu labeled “More Actions” (at the top right of the screen), select “Apply for Plans Resubmission”. You will need to add additional parties and roles (as needed), complete the online form(s), attach your revised plans and pay the amendment application fee.
CHANGE OF CONTRACTOR
If you need to change your contractor, or your plumber or electrician, please submit the Change of Contractor form and a $25 fee. Elise or Nancy will process the change of contractor on Cloudpermit. Note: the new Contractor will need to provide insurances and Nassau County License, and new Electricians and Plumbers must be licensed in the Village for the current calendar year.
FINAL PERMIT CLOSEOUT AND CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY ISSUANCE
Once you have passed your final inspection, a final administrative review of the project is conducted to determine if all required paperwork has been submitted and all fees, including renewal fees, have been paid. All renewal fees must be paid in order to close your permit. Once the administrative review is complete your Certificate of Occupancy or Compliance will be sent to you through the portal.
