MusicFest with Zeal and Zest!
On Labor Day, September 4, 2017, the Village of East Hills hosted it’s first MusicFest poolside with a crowd of over 1,000 residents and their guests. The reviews, accordingly to Mayor Michael Koblenz were “universally positive with unanimous acclaim.”
Sponsored by National Grid, the event offered continuous music from 11am to 7pm, at the Pool at the Park at East Hills. Trustee Stacey Siegel, who ran the event, said “we definitely ended the pool season on a high note!”
The talented performances included “Black Tie Stereo,” a group of male musicians from Pennsylvania; Brady Rymer and the “Little Band that Could,” which caters to our younger resident families; and the highly impressive performance by “Uptown Mix” with rapping, dancing, and the finest voices. Mayor Koblenz exclaimed “it so much was fun for everyone.”
