Halloween “Spooktacular,” So Good It’s Scary!

On Saturday, October 14, 2017, the Village of East Hills’ Kids in the Park Committee celebrated its annual Halloween “Spooktacular.” The wide array of events were met with overwhelming joy and excitement by the residents and their guests. Children showed up in costumes and then enjoyed a train, a spooky trail, and even Decorate-Your-Own Pumpkin activities, which were generously donated by Gold Sponsor, Best Market.

Mayor Michael Koblenz credited the Kids in the Park Committee, Stacey Siegel, Clara Pomerantz and Deputy Mayor Manny Zuckerman for their great help at the event. Stacey Siegel, who planned and supervised the event together with the committee, said she “was gratified that the children in the community were so enthusiastic, and the reaction we all received. I thank the Kids in the Park co-chairs, Ellie Tulumba and Robyn Brattner, for their tireless work and success.”
