East Hills Social Committee Celebrates Its Successful Paint Night!

A New East Hills Committee appointed by Mayor Michel Koblenz held its first, and highly successful, event on Monday, February 13, 2023. The “East Hills Social Committee“ filled the Village Theatre with close to 50 residents and guests for “Paint Night”.  The Co-chairs are  Fanny Boneh, Lindsay Haskel, and Rachel Tubian. The Supervising Trustee is Clara Pomerantz. Mayor Koblenz said “From all the Committee’s hard work and efforts there is only one conclusion you can draw . . .  and that is the event was truly spectacular!”

The subject of the painting was a landscape with relaxing sunset, hypnotic palm trees and restful water. Krafty Hands, a local company, masterly taught the course in painting. The Committee is planning a full range of other exciting events including Zumba classes, speakers including a Holocaust survivor, a book club, and many more programs.

The members of the Committee thanked Graces, Leonetti’s, All Fresh Floral, and Amirah Rabah Sweetlife Bakery for their donations which helped make the event even more special.
