Seniors Succeed With a “Little Help From Their Friends!”
On Sunday, October 21, 2018 the Seniors Activities Committee hosted an event known as “Brunch with the Beatles.” The Penny Lane Beatles Tribute Band played the greatest hits by The Beatles including “With a Little Help from My Friends.” All of the seniors were singing and clapping to their favorite Beatles’ songs.
Mayor Michael Koblenz said, “The Senior Activities Committee is a wonderful team, who once again, succeeded in holding a fun-filled event. What a wonderfully spirited brunch that was filled with memories from the past and great comradery.”
The Senior Activities Committee includes Stanley Stern, Chairman, and Irving Chernofsky, Phyllis Friedlin, Barbara Klein, Eileen Reed and Joan Perilla.
The Penny Lane Beatles Tribute Band performed several of The Beatles’ most famous hits.
