85th Annivesary Celebration of Our Village

Place: Park at East Hills
What: An Extravaganza for All Ages
Join family and friends as we experience a day of fun-filled events to include:
- The schedule of events on September 3, rain date September 4, includes:
11am-1pm: Jazz Brunch at the Grille - 1-3pm: East HIlls historical presentation given by a well-known local historian
- 1-2pm: magician around the Pool
- 1-5pm: Kids in the Park events throughout the Park, including a train ride, live music, bounce houses & carnival games, as well as a very special art mural activity for families, created by Resident Allan Richards.
- 4-7pm: BBQ with live music (to be announced), great for the whole family
In addition, there will be vendors by the Pool and a very special Art Exhibition of artwork submitted by adult and child residents. (please see below to register) And, contests for children & adults at the Pool on the weekends leading up to the event, with winners to be announced at the celebration.
You will not want to miss this memorable day.

EAST HILLS ANNIVERSARY ART SHOW
As part of the spectacular celebration the residents of the village are invited to submit their artwork for display. All artists must bring a stand or other method of display. Other specifications exist.
Media for the exhibit is limited to painting, photography, graphics, drawing, pottery, and sculpture. Crafts are not included in this exhibit. The display will be held on September 3, 2016.
Artists must be current residents of East Hills only. All ages are welcome to submit, with the display divided between adults (18 and above) and youth exhibits.
To register, please email EHArtshow@gmail.com. The subject line should be EH Anniversary. Upon receipt of the email, an invitational application will be sent via email with all pertinent information for artist registration. Certificates of Excellence will be given to all participants.

Information to Vendors
To All Enterprising & Interested Residents:
To make the day even more exciting, we would like to have vendors at the pool area from 10am to 4pm.
Additionally, for the summer (from now until the event), we have been reaching out to vendors that want to offer merchandise promoting the 85th celebration. These products must have either the Village logo or the 85th Anniversary logo on them and be approved by the 85th Anniversary Committee.
The Vendor fee is $25, plus a gift donation valued at $25 to be used as prizes at the event.
If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please contact Natalie Mansbach at natsbst@aol.com. Please note, space is extremely limited. This opportunity will become available to nonresidents on July 18th.
