Narcan Training

The Village is hosting an important presentation on lifesaving Naloxone (Narcan) used to undue the dangerous effects of opioid overdose.

The invaluable training will be presented by Edward Rubin, M.D., and Alex Rubin at the East Hills Park theater on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 11am.

Dr. Rubin and Alex Rubin have prepared a PowerPoint presentation on the drug and how it is used to save lives. They have partnered with Kathie Lombardi from CN Guidance and Counseling Services to provide a demonstration on how to administer Narcan, and to provide attendees over 18 years of age (and 17 years with a parent present) with complimentary Narcan kits. Attendance of the event is on a first come, first served basis.

Please respond to vehnarcantraining@gmail.com to register. I hope you will join us at this critically important practical course on Narcan. For more information on CN Guidance please visit https://centralnassau.org/

With my best wishes,
