East Hills Mayor Michael Koblenz and the Board of Trustees honored Paula Kruszewski for displaying courage and dedication to her duties as a lifeguard at the July 16th, 2024, Village Board Meeting.
On June 13, 2024, Lifeguard Paula Kruszewski jumped into the pool to save a young boy in distress. Paula pulled the unresponsive youth to the pool deck where he received first aid. The boy made a full recovery.
